Dr. Natalie Taylor

Dr. Natalie Taylor is a board-certified haematologist and haematological oncologist with 12 years of practice following her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and haematology-oncology fellowship at Penn Medicine. She subspecialised in bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy during a dedicated BMT fellowship at University of Minnesota, one of the world's most experienced allogeneic transplant programmes.

Dr. Taylor's clinical practice centres on autologous and allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation for haematological malignancies including acute myeloid leukaemia, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma. She evaluates transplant candidacy, selects conditioning regimens, manages transplant complications including graft-versus-host disease and infection, and provides long-term post-transplant follow-up.

She is a leading expert in CAR-T cell therapy, having been involved in the clinical development and real-world implementation of anti-CD19 and anti-BCMA CAR-T products for relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Her research addresses cytokine release syndrome grading and management, immune reconstitution after CAR-T therapy, and predictors of durable remission.

Dr. Taylor is known for her meticulous preparation and her ability to explain the complexity of bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy in terms that patients and families can understand and process. She has built a multidisciplinary BMT team that includes dedicated nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and psychologists who support patients through the intensive transplant journey. She has received the University of Pennsylvania's Faculty Mentor Award for her commitment to haematology trainee education.
