Dr. Frank Bailey

Dr. Frank Bailey is a board-certified pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician with 17 years of experience in the management of respiratory and sleep disorders. He completed his medical training at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, where he developed expertise in interventional pulmonology and sleep medicine, and pursued formal sleep medicine credentialing at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Bailey's pulmonary practice encompasses COPD management, pulmonary rehabilitation programme oversight, bronchiectasis, and lung cancer screening. His interventional pulmonology expertise includes diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound with transbronchial needle aspiration for lung cancer staging, navigational bronchoscopy for peripheral pulmonary nodules, and management of central airway obstruction with rigid bronchoscopy and airway stenting.

His sleep medicine practice addresses the full spectrum of sleep-disordered breathing, including obstructive sleep apnoea, central sleep apnoea, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, and overlap syndrome in patients with concurrent COPD and sleep apnoea.
