Dr. Donna Roberts

Dr. Donna Roberts is a board-certified obstetrician and gynaecologist who trained at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed obstetrics and gynaecology residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, where she received the Resident Teaching Award in each of her four postgraduate years. She subsequently completed a fellowship in urogynaecology and minimally invasive pelvic surgery, developing subspecialty expertise in pelvic floor reconstruction and laparoscopic gynaecological procedures.

Dr. Roberts practises both general obstetrics and specialist gynaecology. In obstetrics, she provides antenatal care and intrapartum management for straightforward and moderately complex pregnancies, with a patient-centred approach that respects individual birth preferences while maintaining a strong commitment to maternal and foetal safety. In gynaecology, her subspecialty focus is on pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, performing laparoscopic and robotic-assisted pelvic floor reconstructive procedures including sacrocolpopexy and native tissue repairs.

She is particularly skilled in the laparoscopic management of uterine fibroids, ovarian pathology, and abnormal uterine bleeding, offering minimally invasive hysterectomy and endometrial ablation as alternatives to open surgery, enabling faster recovery and reduced hospitalisation for her patients. Her interest in adolescent gynaecology leads her to manage conditions including polycystic ovarian syndrome, primary dysmenorrhoea, and congenital uterine anomalies in young women presenting for the first time.

Dr. Roberts places great importance on creating a comfortable and non-judgemental clinical environment for women of all ages and backgrounds.
