Blood Cancer & Bone Marrow Transplant Centre

The Blood Cancer & Bone Marrow Transplant Centre at SilverOak Health provides expert diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of haematological malignancies — leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and myelodysplastic syndromes — within a comprehensive, accredited programme that includes autologous and allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy.

Diagnostic haematology services include bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy with morphological, flow cytometric, cytogenetic, and molecular analysis enabling accurate WHO classification of every haematological malignancy. Minimal residual disease testing by highly sensitive molecular or flow cytometric methods guides treatment intensification and consolidation decisions in acute leukaemia and myeloma. Next-generation sequencing identifies actionable mutations — FLT3, IDH1/2, NPM1, BCR-ABL, TP53 — that direct targeted therapy selection.

Treatment programmes encompass conventional and novel chemotherapy regimens, targeted agents including ibrutinib, venetoclax, ruxolitinib, azacitidine, and ivosidenib, bispecific T-cell engagers for relapsed disease, and CAR-T cell therapy within our accredited cellular therapy programme. Haematopoietic stem cell transplantation — autologous for lymphoma and myeloma, allogeneic for acute leukaemia, MDS, and aplastic anaemia — is performed within our HEPA-filtered transplant unit with comprehensive infectious disease, nutritional, and GVHD management.

Our CAR-T programme is certified for commercially approved products targeting CD19 and BCMA, offering transformative treatment for patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies and multiple myeloma. The cellular therapy team manages the full pathway from leukapheresis and bridging therapy through manufacturing, infusion, and management of cytokine release syndrome and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity. Structured long-term follow-up monitors response durability and B-cell aplasia management.

Non-malignant haematology services — encompassing anticoagulation management, bleeding disorder treatment including haemophilia and von Willebrand disease, haemolytic anaemia, immune thrombocytopenia, and transfusion medicine — complement our malignant haematology programme. Our haemostasis and thrombosis clinic provides specialist assessment for complex coagulation disorders. Multidisciplinary collaboration with infectious disease, gastroenterology, dermatology, and palliative care ensures comprehensive, integrated management for every patient throughout their haematology journey.
