Cardiology at SilverOak Health encompasses the comprehensive diagnosis, management, and prevention of diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels. Our consultant cardiologists are trained in general cardiology and bring subspecialty expertise across interventional cardiology, heart failure, cardiac imaging, and preventive cardiology, ensuring that every patient receives targeted, evidence-based care tailored to their specific condition.

We manage the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, heart failure with preserved and reduced ejection fraction, valvular heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and congenital heart disease in adults. Outpatient clinics offer comprehensive assessment with ECG, echocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, and exercise testing available on the same day as the consultation, minimising diagnostic delays.

Our preventive cardiology programme focuses on aggressive risk factor management — targeting hypertension, dyslipidaemia, diabetes, and lifestyle factors — to reduce the incidence of first and recurrent cardiovascular events. The cardiac rehabilitation programme supports patients recovering from heart attacks, cardiac surgery, and heart failure, using structured exercise, education, and psychological support to optimise long-term outcomes. Our cardiology team participates in weekly multidisciplinary structural heart, heart failure, and arrhythmia MDT meetings to ensure complex patients receive coordinated, expert care from all relevant subspecialties.
