SilverOak Cancer Center in Nashville holds the National Cancer Institute's designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center — a distinction awarded to fewer than 72 institutions in the United States and reflecting demonstrated excellence in cancer research, treatment, and community outreach. Our 200-bed specialty hospital is entirely dedicated to the oncology patient experience, from diagnosis through survivorship, providing an environment that combines clinical rigor with genuine compassion.

Medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology work in seamless coordination through a disease-site-specific tumor board that convenes three times weekly. Our clinical trials portfolio spans more than 90 active protocols at any given time, giving Nashville-area patients access to investigational agents and novel combinations that have not yet reached standard practice. The center serves as the regional hub for several NCI-sponsored cooperative group trials in lung, colorectal, breast, and hematologic malignancies.

SilverOak Nashville is home to one of six proton therapy centers in the southeastern United States, offering this precision radiation modality for pediatric tumors, head and neck cancers, prostate cancer, and other diagnoses where minimizing dose to adjacent healthy tissue is critical. Our immunotherapy infusion center administers FDA-approved checkpoint inhibitors, bispecific antibodies, and CAR-T cell therapies, with on-site pharmacy preparation and real-time toxicity monitoring by dedicated oncology pharmacists.
